One World Festival
Glossopdale Furniture Project had a successful day at the One World Festival in High Lea Park at New Mills on Saturday 18th June. A wide range of products from the Furniture Project workshop were on display and raised considerable interest from the many visitors to the event. The One World Festival is held each year at this location and attracts a wide range of stalls from organisations concerned with the environment, volunteering and charity. Events like this are always a good opportunity to make contacts and to raise awareness of the work of the Furniture Project. |
New Website
High Peak CVS have designed a new website for the Furniture Project - we hope you like it. The main pages of the site are easily accessed from the 'drawers' selector on the left. These deal with the aims of Glossopdale Furniture Project, how to donate furniture, obtaining furniture, and the Products from our workshop. One of the primary reasons for the new design has been to list and display the workshop products. The design undertaken by High Peak CVS allows staff at the Furniture Project to simply add descriptions of new products with photographs alongside. |
